KRAKATAU BANDUNG TOUR
Forty year after the main explosion, in 1927, volcanic activity was seen in the sea covering the old caldera, between the sites of the two northernmost former volcanoes of Krakatau, where the greatest activity had occurred at the time  of the cataclysm. A series of eruption 185 m below the surface of the sea resulted in the emergence of three new islands, one after the other. They were all son destroyed by surf. A fourth emerged from the sea on August 12th 1930. It remained above water, and was aptly named Anak Krakatau (child of Krakatau)
This young and active volcano has been growing around 6 feet a year and still continues doing so. It grew by the accumulation of ash, and suffered a devastating eruption in 1952, and other very destructive one in 1971. It is now 300 m high and 5 Km in diameter, and is still active spurting fire and cinder, this like moonlike landscape. It is lonely volcanic island in the middle of the sea. The northeast coast, north foreland and east foreland are now vegetated; the succession of vegetation is still at an early stage, Casuarinas equisetifolia (cemara) being the dominant tree.

Tour Itinerary :
DAY 01 CARITA - KRAKATAU
We pick you up at Jakarta air port or Jakarta
city for meeting with our representative than transfer by car directly to
coastal town of Carita beach take about 4 hour, than we board the boat
(cruising) the Sunda strait to the famous , deserted, active volcano island with 35 miles away, to sea is left of the biggest explosion ever recorded in history mankind (1883) approximately 1; 30 hours, keep your eyes open, and you may see a Frigate Bird soaring high overhead, flicking its scissor-like tail as it changes direction with hardly a flap of its wings, You will almost certainly spot flying fish making their long low glides above the sea's surface . Some of them "fly" for tens of metres, and are airbone for several second, dolphins often come to greet the boat and play alongside it or in front of the prow. Crusing around the Anak Krakatau where you can seen the real of black lava stone and rest of the last eruption. Landing at the beach of Anak Krakatau and climb up to the first top of volcano than step your foot on it searching closely the minerals (Volcanic bomb, lava) from the bottom of the earth which were thrown up through its crater, from the top you can see the wonder beautiful sea view of krakatau arcipelago. Back to the boat than continue to old Krakatau island (the mother of krakatau) at "Chili lagoon" for snorkeling to see variesty of tropical fish at coral reef (angelfish, surgeonfish, clownfish, batfish, butterfly fish etc. Stay and Lunch will be served at the beach at Krakatau island. Return boat trip to Carita. Overnight
DAY 02 CARITA - BOGOR
After breakfast depart from hotel to Bogor via
Jakarta and stop at Taman Mini ( Indonesia in miniature) location of Indonesian
a 170 hectares garden, see and admire the tribal houses from all 27 province of
Indonesia with display of traditional arts and culture in actual setting. Also
visit Museum Indonesia with
an exhibition of traditional costumers, houses utensils and the finest
handicraft of the country continue to Bogor arrived than visit the huge botanical garden, covering an area of 100 hectares.
The gardens were the inspiration of Governor-general Raffles and officially
open in 1817. the garden contain streams and lotus ponds and more than 15,000
species of trees and plants to delicate orchids than visit one interesting site
is Zoological Museum offering its collections of various Indonesia fauna and
120.000 rare scientific books. Over night at Bogor
DAY 03. BOGOR - BANDUNG
After breakfast depart from hotel continue to
visit Cisarua safari park. Differing from the zoo, as the name indicates, this
is a wild life park where animals roam around freely, while visitors observe
them from cars. The park's collection includes (besides Indonesia species)
animal from all over the world then continue our journey to Bandung drive along
the wind ing road to the mountain resort of Puncak, the peak a popular weekend
retreat for Jakarta's residents. Located about 1.500 meter above sea level, it
offering a beautiful panorama of tea plantation and mountain scenery of West
Java from Puncak southwards the road gradually descends again, and eventually
ends at mountain city of Bandung capital of West
Java A full day tour to explored the city of Bandung. you will have the free program for
your own activity which you can enjoy to go shopping in Ban dung Area the
"Paris Van Java" or taste the kind of traditional food. Over night at
Bandung
DAY 04. BANDUNG EXCURSION
After breakfast full day tour at Bandung to visit
the Tangkuban Perahu a volcano, which is still active 6,665 feet above sea
level continue our journey to Ciater hot springs is a pretty little place in
the middle of huge tea and clove estates, and there are good walk in the area
with its hot spring water. In the afternoon visit the Angklung workshop this is
art-stage where West Java's traditional
cultures are performance along with the natural background such as rice fields
and plantations. Beside, many kinds of handicraft are made and sold here
especially the bamboo music instruments called angklung. Located in Padasuka
village, at east of Bandung.
Overnight at Bandung.
DAY 05 BANDUNG – JAKARTA
After break fast transfer to Jakarta. End the trip.
